Eine Aktualisierung

Just a short update today.  I registered for my classes here today.  My first day is April 3rd.  I have Theater, Phonetics, and a German Intensive Course.  I believe that it is 18 hours, but hours here and credit hours at home are different, I think.
In other, more exciting, news, I'm going to Prague tomorrow!  A group of 8 of us are all going together.  We did a blind booking flight, where you don't know where you're going until after you pay.  The round trip flight was 65 Euros, and we're staying in a hostel, which is pretty cheap too.  Total I am paying 107 Euro for a round-trip flight and 3 nights in a hostel.  Of course, that doesn't include spending money, but I think everything is relatively cheap in Prague.  I will have lots of photos when I get back.  We come back on Sunday night at around 10:45, I think, so look for an update with photos and stories on Monday or Tuesday.

Bis Montag (oder Dienstag!)

  1. You should seek out a beer called Pilsner Urquell there. It's a real light beer that the Czech Republic is famous for. And phonetics is really cool, especially in a language other than English. Phonetics is my favorite part of linguistics. Hope you're having a good time.

  2. I have seen signs for that Pilsner Urquell everywhere but I haven't tried it yet. And I'm pretty excited for phonetics.
